Redbridge Public Meeting - Timeline

The first of the public meetings on Redbridge's Proposal to have 3 Markets on Green Belt land between Hainault Road and Billet Road was held today.

The board showed their Timeline:

Spring (actually April) City of London short list 2 proposed sites

• Summer 2019 -  City of London public consultation on potential sites
• September 2019 -  City of London select preferred site
• November 2019 - Private member's bill to change formal market charter
• Winter 2021 - planning application submitted
• Spring 2023 - start of construction
